This document provides international agency compliance, safety, and statutory information for the

Cisco MDS 9000 Family of multilayer directors and fabric switches. Read this document before

installing or servicing the following systems:

• Cisco MDS 9500 Series of multilayer directors

• Cisco MDS 9200 Series of multilayer fabric switches

• Cisco MDS 9100 Series of multilayer fabric switches

• Cisco MDS 9000 Family Port Analyzer Adapter

Note Only trained and qualified service personnel (as defined in IEC 60950 and AS/NZS 3260) should install,

replace, or service the equipment. Install the system in accordance with the U.S. National Electric Code

if you are in the United States.
